When was the first time you heard the Jack and the Beanstalk story?
I first heard it when I was a wee lad, from my grandfather.

What is your favorite fairy tale story? Why?
Cinderella. It's been one of the most powerful and moving stories, both in literature and music, since its genesis.

Who is your favorite composer? Why?
Dmitri Shostakovich. Despite the horrid conditions he lived in, he was still able to create beautiful music.

What was your first instrument?
Trombone
